Made by Alice Caroline in England using Liberty Tana Lawn® fabrics.
"This Flower Power Cushion will bring the beautiful wild flower meadows inside to you, as well as show off a selection of pretty fabrics. You will craft a sweet scene featuring busy bees flitting from one colourful flower to another in their search for pollen.
Suitable for an advancing beginner sewer, it is constructed using the raw edge appliqué technique. This does require some concentration, but will help advance your sewing skills. Details in flowers and the ambling flight path of the bees are created through decorative quilting stitches by machine or hand, or a mix of both, if desired. The ‘fold and cut’ method of cutting out the circular flower pieces is inspired by paper-cut snowflakes often made by children. Have fun applying this simple principle to fabric with beautiful results!
You will receive the exact Liberty Tana Lawn® fabrics pictured.
